A perfect spot to enjoy breakfast with a cozy atmosphere! The seating is inviting, especially with the beautiful seasonal decor that adds a warm touch to the experience. The food is fairly priced, with fresh ingredients that make a noticeable difference. The bun was delicious, with a great balance of flavors. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. If you’re looking for a pleasant place to start your day, I’d definitely recommend stopping by here!
Had breakfast with the girls & it was wonderful. Service was great, prices were very fair and the food and drinks were wonderful. I got the vanilla matcha with strawberry cold foam. I don’t usually like matcha, but this was too pretty to pass up.. and it tasted spectacular. I got the sweet & spicy breakfast sandwich special - the bacon was so crispy and the chili oil was not too spicy. We will be back!
A Hidden Gem in Wallingford! The Bees Knees Bistro is exactly the kind of local spot you hope to stumble upon — charming, delicious, and worth every visit. I stopped by this week and was very pleased. The smashed chicken burger was an absolute standout. Pressed to perfection on the griddle, it was juicy and tender with beautifully caramelized edges that packed so much flavor into every bite. It’s clear the kitchen puts real care into what they’re serving up. They have a lovely assortment of delicious expresso based coffee drinks and matcha which you can get iced or hot. I ordered the iced maple latte, and it was a treat! The maple was sweet without being overpowering, the espresso had just the right kick, and over ice it was incredibly refreshing. It’s the kind of drink that makes you wish you’d ordered two! The whole experience left me smiling. The Bees Knees Bistro is doing something special in Wallingford, and I’ll absolutely be back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and creative drinks in a welcoming atmosphere!
Delicious food with a good variety of options. Friendly and accommodating staff. It is very popular for weekend brunch so can have significant wait time, go early or plan ahead.
My husband and I went there for the first time yesterday. We were meeting relatives from out of town and needed a place half-way between Stratford and Simsbury. It turned out to be the perfect place. We arrived early to check it out. It has comfortable seating both inside and out. The staff was super welcoming and accommodating. We had specialty coffees followed by lunch. The food was fresh and delicious. We there for about two hours and, as busy as it was, we never felt rushed. It is my new favorite place! I highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.
Absolutely delightful experience. The food was fantastic, we came on a sunday, so it was all day breakfast only. From the service of our waitress, to the speed of our order, and the quality, it was all 10/10.
My husband & I stopped by here on our way to NYC, I came across this & thought the pictures looked great to try. So we stopped in on a gorgeous Sunday (which they do breakfast all day on Sundays) the food was amazing you could tell that everything was fresh! We loved it so much that we ended up sharing our dishes with each other. Would love to stop by again, the staff was also such a pleasure to be around!
This place is absolutely incredible. Not only do they make some amazing coffees I have not had a bad meal here. This bistro has quickly become my go to breakfast spot. I would highly recommend to try this local gem!
Been here many times but the last 2 times were so good I had to write a review. The veggie burger is just so good. Everything about it is perfectly done. The veggie patty is house made and they grill it until crisp. Then they top it with house made spread and crispy onions. So good. The pasta salad on the side is exactly what I want from a pasta salad. Highly recommend.
We went on a Monday morning and it was very quiet and serene inside. Lovely decor and fun bee themes throughout the restaurant and menu. My husband got the bumble and I got the Catch a Redeye with the pancake option. The bacon was very good quality, thick cut and the pancakes were light and fluffy. My husband’s sandwich was stacked on a fresh roll and the eggs in both dishes had bright orange yolks, a sign of a super healthy chicken 🥰will definitely be going back!!
